Getting sport moving, moving society forward

The institute brings together those involved in impact sport to measure its effects and initiate new cooperative ventures. To support its ambitions, we have created a brand on the fringes of performance sport. The name is inspired by the Latin concept of ‘Res Publica’ (the public thing) and reveals its vocation to put sport at the service of all, in the arena of the common good.

Change is a team sport

From decision-makers to associations, Res Sportiva brings together a wide range of players. As well as distancing ourselves from commercial sport, we wanted to convey the idea of synergy and interdependence. This inspired a monogram evoking different stones laid one on top of the other. Organic, imperfect, but solid together, these shapes convey a message of solidarity and allow us to create a language of proprietary icons.

The land as a breeding ground

Created by Emmanuel Rivat and David Blough, the institute was born out of a world tour of initiatives led by David Blough, which was turned into a film. It is deeply inspired by actions on the ground. To reflect this link with the real world, we took advantage of the images in the film to create an immersive website and a territory that puts the local people and the beneficiaries of impact sport at the centre.
